Walter Elias Disney was born in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
1906 Family moved to Marceline, Missouri.
1909 He was admitted to Park School, Marceline.
1910 Family moved to Kansas City, Missouri.
1930 Joined the Kansas City Art Institute.
1915 Graduated from Benton School.
Moved to Chicago to join his parents.
Enrolled in McKinley High School, Chicago.
1917 Bought his first movie camera.
Joined the American Ambulance Corps of Red Cross.
Sailed abroad the SS Vaubin to France.
1919 Formed a company with Ubbe Iwwerks (later–Ub Iwerks) called Iwerk - Disney Commercial Artists.
1920 Produced an animated film in Kansas.
1922 Established Laugh-O-gram films.
1923 Laugh-O-gram venture ended in bankruptcy. He inaugurated the Disney Brothers Studio.
1925 Married Lillian Bounds.
1926 Changed the name of studio from Disney Brothers to Walt Disney Studio.
1928 Conception of the first most popular cartoon character ever – Mickey Mouse.
1932 Was presented with an Academy Award for creating Mickey Mouse.
1934 Introduced Donald Duck.
1937 Appeared on the cover page of Time Magazine.
1954 Disney and ABC signed an agreement for building ‘Disneyland’.
1964 He was honored with ‘Medal of Freedom’ by President of United States.
DEC.15, 1966 Died of lung cancer at the age of 65.
