Chanakya's Education

He was a citizen of the Gandhar province but still, he was truly a world citizen. Commenting on the point a contemporary scholar of Taxila, Indradutt said, "Chanakya doesn’t want to get involved in the skirmishes of the provinces because he belongs to the whole of India, in fact he is a world citizen. In his eye each province, irrespective of its size and prowess is one and the same." Providing his knowledge for the benefit of the provinces and individuals alike, he looked at everything from the humanitarian point in view. While describing the ideal system of law, he opines that any law that starts working against the wellbeing of humanity should be eradicated and should not be brought into practice. The present day world which is moving towards the adherence to human rights was envisioned by Chanakya. His ideology of aggression with the purpose of saving ones interests is in line with the policies followed by India and many other countries.
