The eighth Tirthankar Chandraprabh was born in Chandrapuri. King Mahasen and queen Laxmana
were his parents. After a vague worldly existence he renounced the world. In the same
year, he acquired self-realization and attained liberation.
King Sugreev and queen Rama
of the town Kakandi gave birth to the ninth Tirthankar Suvidhinath. He spent many years in
a worldly existence and later renounced the world. After four months, he attained
salvation.
The tenth Tirthankar was
Shitalnathji. His father Dashrath was the king of Bhadvilpur. His mother was Nandadevi.
Having spent several years in the royal splendor, he felt an indifference towards it and
he renounced the world. He attained salvation in the very next year.
The eleventh Tirthankar
Shreyansa was born in Sinhpuri. King Vishnu and queen Vishnudevi were his parents. After
some years, he attained renunciation. After twelve months, he attained self-realization.
He got salvation.
The twelfth Tirthankar
Vasupujya was born in Champapuri. His parents were the royal couple. They were Vasupujya
and Jaya Devi. The twelfth Tirthankar Vasupujya renounced the world after leading a
worldly existence for many years. Then, he attained liberation.
The thirteenth Tirthankar
was Vimalnathji. He was born in Kapilpuri after many years of the twelfth Tirthankar's
salvation. His father was king Krutvarma and his mother was Shyama Devi. After many years,
he renounced the world after many years in a bid to detach himself from a vain existence.
After eleven months, he attained liberation.

Then, the fourteenth Tirthankar Anantnathji was born in Ayodhya to king Sinhsen and queen Suyasha. After many years, he broke free from the worldly shackles and renounced the world. After one year, he got the supreme knowledge and after some years, he got liberation.
The fifteenth Tirthankar Dharmanathji was born in Ratnapuri. King Bhanu and queen Suvrata were his parents. After many years, he renounced the world and after two years, he acquired reclamation.
The sixteenth Tirthankar Shantinathji was born to king Vishwasen and queen Achira of Gajpur. After spending many years in the royal palace, he abandoned the world in the same kingdom.

After a year he attained self-realization.
Then, Kunthunathji the son of king Sur and queen Shri of Gajpur became the seventeenth Tirthankar. Then, as he grew up, he abandoned the world and after sixteen years, he attained self-realization. Then after some years, he attained salvation.
The eighteenth Tirthankar Arhantnathji was born in Gajpur as well. His parents were king Sudarshan and Queen Devi. After ruling for some years, he went to a jungle and gave up the world. After three years, he got self-realization. Then, he abandoned everything and attained liberation.
The nineteenth Tirthankar
was born in the town of Mithila to king Kumbhraj and wife Prabhavati. Her name was
Mallinathji. After many years, she renounced the world. She attained self-realization on
the same day. Then, after many years, she got salvation.
The twentieth Tirthankar
Muni-Suvratji was born in Rajgruh to king Sumitra and queen Padmavati. After many years,
he renounced the world in a jungle. After eleven months, he attained self-realization.
After some years, he attained salvation.
King Vijay and queen
Chitradevi were the parents of the twenty first Tirthankar Nabhinathji, in Mathurapuri.
After many years in the palace, he renounced the world. Nine months later, he got
self-realization. After some years, he attained salvation.
The twenty-second
Tirthankar Neminathji was born to king Samudravijayji and queen Shivarani in Sauripur. He
led a worldly existence briefly and then, he renounced the world thinking that the
protection of animals and birds was his duty. After fifty-four days, he attained
self-realization. After some more years, he attained salvation.
The
twenty-third Tirthankar was Parshvanathji. He was born in Varanasi. His parents were king
Ashvasen and queen Vama devi. He lived in the world for just thirty years. Then, he
abandoned the world. After eighty-four days, he gave up the world. Seventy years later, he
attained salvation. His period was believed to be eight hundred years before Christ.
