Lee
Iacocca once wanted a career in military but ended up as a business
management icon. The Great Depression had turned him a materialist
and he wanted to make his first million by the time he was 25.
He did it.
Climbing
the corporate ladder was not a cakewalk for this talented,
hard-working and sincere car-designer. Henry
Ford II chucked him out. But Chrysler Corporation took
him in. Chrysler was in a dismal state in every way. Had Lee
not been there, Chrysler would have become a past. Lee designed
a new future for the company. He brought about the Renaissance
in the world on wheels with models like the K-Car.
In the process, Lee became a media celebrity, newsmaker and
a man many thought should have run for Presidency in the US.
